{trying to be scary... plus it looks like i'm naked. i'm not.}

well, i'm taking a few minutes out of the craziness that is my life lately to do a little blogging!
i've been up at the lake a lot and working on getting ready for my friend's wedding this weekend.

i'm heading out for the bachelorette party tonight and then the next few days will be dedicated to wedding prep!
i think i will have some time to sneak a few posts in finally this week...

we shall see! pray for no rain on saturday!

down by the river.

i've been such a horrible blogger lately!
there's just so much going on.
and i haven't been around anyone that has wanted to take outfit photos for me.

this week will be another busy one...
working on a few projects around the apartment, a few projects for levi's birthday party this weekend,
and a few projects for my friend's wedding in a couple weeks.
plus i am shooting a wedding this friday.
so it should be an exciting week!

i went up to the lake this past weekend to spend some time with my big brother & grandparents.
gram made her famous chicken & biscuits {which were amazing as always}
zac and i hiked through the trails and collected driftwood & other treasures along the shore.
we even got to go to an auction and some garage sales while i was there.
then they came back to dad's on sunday and we all spent mothers' day together.
it was a lovely weekend.

sometimes i get tired of having pictures taken of myself
and so i've got to thinking lately... i have tons of beautiful friends that aren't in the blog world
but have some amazing vintage finds that should be featured for all to see!
so i'm just going to start putting them on here!

one of my very best friends, rachel, wore this insanely amazing vintage dress
when we went out to eat and i immediately fell in love with it.
the pattern of the fabric paired with the design of the dress is perfection.

i can't believe it's already friday!
this week has been so full of exciting adventures!
photoshoots, wedding planning, birthday celebrations.... goodness!
i'm ready to catch up on sleep and get some cleaning done!

i wish i could explain how thankful i am that God brought this lady into my life back in kindergarten.
and that she puts up with all my craziness and impatience and still loves me.

i'm so glad that i get to share my life with such a beautiful & thoughtful friend.

can't wait to see all the hundreds of more awkward photos we'll have together by the time we're 90.
