i've been wearing a lot of the same few necklaces this summer.

and i love them so much that i decided to share them since they haven't all made it into an outfit post yet.

i was the "craft lady" at camp this year and this is one of the projects we made with the kids.

thrifted this a few weeks ago. it's a guatemalan worry doll pouch but i've been wearing it as a necklace.

a few years ago i picked up a huge collection of vintage men's bolo ties at an estate sale.

this is one of the ones that i never ended up selling because i  love it!

scored this at an auction last year.

and it had been MIA until last month when i found it with some crafting supplies.

i was cleaning the apartment last week and i found a long sleeve, high collar dress that

i had bought thinking that i would wear it one day. but every time i tried it on i just felt too frumpy.

so i hacked it apart and made this little halter dress.

i didn't spend much time on it, so the quality is nothing to be proud of. but it's easy to throw on

and perfect for all the heat we've been having!

last week my cousins and i went to the genesee county fair!

it seems to get less exciting and more expensive as i get older. haha.

but we had a pretty grand time anyways...

  lots of animals to see. some were a little goofier than others.

 i literally could have spent all the money i have playing this game.

i understand gambling addictions now.

can't go to the fair without fried dough. right?!

trying to make some changes to my blog last night/this morning is giving me a headache!

technology and i just don't get a long very well...

i was in buffalo last weekend and decided to treat myself to some shopping.

forever 21 was having a buy one get one free sale on all their clearance! which was amazing.

and then i let myself "splurge" on a dress at u.o.

because sometimes you just deserve to buy something you want that is $20. haha!

mine was lovely. full of friends, food, & fireworks.
